Part of my countdown to Thunder Press extravaganza…
The February issue of Thunder Press will be running a strip from my Toy Run series. Tomorrow is the deadline for the March strip, which I will not be putting online for a while as I want you to go find it in print! But I’m working on it and doing some of my best work yet on this strip, possibly pointing in a new direction for the level of art I’m reaching for.
In the middle of it all I’m having moments like “where the heck did I put my designer’s gouache?” and “Oohh, that’s what French curves are for” and “but I already looked for it there…”

A great behind the scenes photo. It really reminds me of the chaos of creation I go through in my own comic production. Looking forward to more.
